Since joining the Bouygues group in 1992, he has overseen major projects, including the TGV Interconnexion in Paris and the Maputo corridor in Mozambique.

Ronan Le Roy

Ronan serves as the Managing Director of DTP under Bouygues Construction. With over 20 years of global experience, he excels in leadership and operational management.
Since 2014, Ronan has driven strategic growth and operational excellence at DTP. He previously held roles as General Manager and Operations Manager, contributing to significant project successes.
His career includes positions such as Major Projects Manager for Soletanche-Bachy in Australia and Managing roles for SolData in Hungary and Hong-Kong. Ronan also has extensive experience in project and contract management, as well as mine planning and engineering roles with AREVA Mining.
Ronan’s exceptional managerial skills and strategic vision have been crucial in advancing DTP’s operations.

Olivier Beney

Olivier joined the Bouygues group in 1999, immediately after completing his studies. His initial role was with the International Building Finance team at Challenger. In early 2001, he relocated to Turkmenistan, serving first as Cost Controller for the Madjlis (Parliament) construction project and later for the Kipchak Mosque. By 2005, Olivier had become CFO in Baku, Azerbaijan, and in 2007, he joined the Bouyguesstroï teams in Moscow and Yekaterinburg, where he also served as AGF for the Hyatt Hotel construction project.
In 2009, Olivier returned to France and was appointed Financial Director of MARS in Reims. MARS, a concession company partly owned by Bouygues TP, was responsible for constructing the tramway and operating the urban transport network for the agglomeration.
Since 2016, Olivier has been part of the Bouygues TP Mines Operational Unit and has held the position of Financial Director since 2021.

Mhemed Jaziri

Mhemed is a passionate QHSE expert with 15 years of experience and a double degree from ENSAM Paris Tech and ENIT in Quality Management and Industrial Engineering. Trilingual in French, Arabic and English, he excels in environmental regulations in France and mining regulations in Africa (Mali, Ivory Coast, Guinea, DRC).
At Bouygues Travaux Publics, he supervised mining projects in Mali and Côte d’Ivoire in QHSE, led environmental initiatives on the Marseille bypass, and held the position of head of environmental regulatory monitoring. Currently in the Mining division, he coordinates QHSE activities at mine sites, demonstrating exemplary leadership and an ability to drive cultural changes in safety and environment. His key competencies include the development of QHSE systems, continuous training, HSE incident management and audit coordination, making him a major asset to the company.

Thierry Vaillant

Thierry has been with DTP (Bouygues SA) since 1993, bringing extensive experience in plant management and operations. Currently serving as the Plant Director for DTP since 2007, Thierry defines the strategy for CAPEX/OPEX, negotiates fleet purchases with support agreements and supply contracts. He supports site project and plant managers, controls maintenance activities, supply chain, provide maintenance IT tools, recruits, selects plant supervision teams, drives employee development through training.
Thierry has managed new site start-ups and oversees equipment valued at $250 million, including 220 large machines and 700 employees. His prior roles include Plant Manager at Morila Gold Mine in Mali, Cost Estimator for DTP in the Head Office, and various positions in plant management and maintenance.
Thierry’s comprehensive expertise in equipment management, maintenance strategy, logistics, and team recruitment has been instrumental in the success of DTP’s operations worldwide.

Hawa Tounkara

Hawa is an experienced professional with a solid background in quality management and project management. She holds a Master 2 in Management of Quality Projects from Université Paris XII and has undertaken significant roles in various organizations, including PSA Peugeot Citroen and Bouygues Travaux Publics.
Hawa is currently the HR Manager for Africa, Middle East, DTP and Major International Projects, with over 15 years with the mining division. She has transitioned from a Quality Health Safety Environment role in Africa to overseeing HR policies at a corporate level and supporting major infrastructure projects since 2022.
Her ability to respond pragmatically to major HR operational challenges in a demanding environment, combined with her extensive knowledge of Africa has enabled her to meet the challenges ahead with the utmost efficiency.
She is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all company policies, and programs. She is involved in maintaining performance indicators and aligning them with organizational goals for continuous improvement.

Patrick N’kodia

Patrick joined Bouygues Construction in 2005 as an equipment product manager in the Paris branch.
In 2007, he took over responsibility of the western equipment agency, providing assembly and maintenance services for local building/industrial/civil works sites. In 2010 he became national department manager for formwork, shoring, special manufacturing, and innovative products, focusing on purchasing, investment, resale, life cycle and cost optimizations. From 2014 on, alongside these duties, he took in charge the equipment branch for costing, technical studies, and site operations in the Ile-de-France region.
In 2018, he was appointed general manager of Bouygues Construction Matériel, the Group’s international equipment business unit dedicated to construction works. In 2022, he became Transformation Director of Bouygues Construction, covering the areas of Digitalization, Decarbonization, CSR commitments and Industrialization.
Since September 2024, Patrick joined the mining division where he is in charge of structuring and accelerating DTP’s energy transition and digitalization/automation approach.”

Frédéric MONATH
Technical Services Manager

Frédéric is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in drilling and blasting and 18 years in open-pit mining. He holds a Master’s degree in Geophysics and has demonstrated exceptional expertise in mining operations, drilling, blasting, and explosives manufacturing. Currently, Frédéric serves as the Technical Services Manager at DTP.
Since June 2023, he has been leading technical service initiatives with a hybrid work model. Prior to this, he was the Head of Methods and Cost Estimation for the mining division, where he was responsible for engineering, methods, and cost estimation. His role included managing new tenders, budget-cost control for ongoing projects, and serving as the referent for explosives and drilling and blasting works.
His tenure at DTP began in April 2014 as a Senior Operations Engineer, overseeing projects and tenders, cost estimation, and operations budgets while providing drill and blast expertise and engineering support. Frédéric’s career also includes valuable experience with EPC Groupe, where he served as Operations Manager in Guinea, and Blasting Engineer for Mining/Quarry and Civil works specializing in drilling, blasting, bulk explosive manufacturing, and mine to mill projects.
Frédéric’s technical prowess is complemented by various training and certifications, including a Masterclass in Mining Company Valuation, Contract Management Training, and specialised courses in Finance for managers. His commitment to continuous learning and professional development underscores his leadership in the mining industry.
Frédéric is dedicated to driving innovation, safety, and efficiency in mining operations, and his comprehensive background makes him an invaluable asset to DTP and the broader mining community.

Marcel has over 30 years of operational and contractual management experience, developing and running large scale mining projects on the African Continent.
Marcel has held senior leadership positions with Ausdrill, African Mining Services, Randgold Resources, Banlaw Africa and EPSA Internacional. As Randgold’s Consulting Mining Engineer he was instrumental in developing and operating Randgold’s mines in West Africa, directing and steering diverse teams on the mine sites, ensuring safe and efficient working environments, and promoting the development and growth of local talent.
During the past decade Marcel has been consulting to mining companies and mining contractors on project development, business improvement and business development. More recently, Marcel was part of EPSA’s executive team, securing the award of two mining contracts in Ivory Coast.
Throughout his career Marcel has shown strong leadership skills, spearheading operational distinction and responsible growth.
Marcel is a graduate mining engineer from the TU Delft (MSc Eng) and the RSM, Imperial College (ICID).
